Opening the account was okay, but the verification part took longer than I expected. I tried to be patient, but it kind of felt like my concerns weren’t really being taken seriously while I waited.

I mostly use the aspiration app on my phone, it’s been easy so far. Logging in is quick, checking my balance is quick, and moving money around is simple too. The menus make sense, which I really appreciate, and it doesn’t feel cluttered or confusing like some other banking apps I’ve used.

I swear, the deposits hit way quicker than I expected. I was ready to sit there refreshing forever, and then boom, it was already there. Transfers were smooth too, like almost suspiciously easy. i may have overreacted a little, but not having to wait around felt amazing

The notifications showed up late, and sometimes it took a while to get a reply. It also felt like things were handled a bit carelessly, like no one was really paying close attention to keeping me updated.

I canceled my Aspiration subscription without too much hassle, but I did have to click around for a while before I found the right place. I’m always a little nervous with subscriptions that I’ll get tricked into staying or miss some hidden step, so I was paying close attention. Thankfully there wasn’t any big fight or weird runaround, it just wasn’t as quick or obvious as I expected. Overall, it turned out okay.

I went with aspiration because, compared to my previous bank, they seem to take climate impact a lot more seriously. What I appreciate is that they actually explain where the impact comes from instead of just throwing around vague green-sounding promises. I’m still figuring out all the details, but up to now it feels honest and useful...

I moved my paycheck direct deposit over to Aspiration a few months back, it was painless. I just grabbed the routing and account number from the app, sent them to my employer, and that was basically it. What more do you really want from setup?

My pay has been showing up on time for the most part, and every now and then it even lands a little early, which I’m definitely not complaining about. Who doesn’t like getting paid sooner? I also like that I get an alert right away when the money hits.

I’m giving it one star off because the app can be a little sluggish here and there, and one time support took about a day to get back to me. Not a huge deal, but still worth mentioning, right? Overall though, direct deposit has worked well for me

I’ve been using my aspiration debit card for regular day-to-day stuff, and overall it’s been reliable. I was in a good mood when I first started using it because purchases went through quickly, the app updated without much delay, and I haven’t had any random declines so far. ATM access has been decent too. The only reason I’d give it 4 stars is that a couple of transfers took longer than I expected, and customer support wasn’t the quickest. Still, I’m happy with it for the most part

The rewards do add up over time, which is nice, nice. They’re not always huge or anything, but still a decent little bonus.

I had some weird charge show up on my Aspiration card and my first thought was, great, here we go, this is gonna be a whole thing. I froze the card right away and messaged support becuase I didn’t want it getting worse.

They opened the dispute quickly, actually kept me in the loop, and the money came back faster than I expected. The app isn’t perfect all the time, but for this fraud issue, they handled it really solidly for me.

Just a quick warning for anyone checking them out: so far, the fees have been clearly laid out and I haven’t run into any weird surprise charges. Definitely keep an eye on your statements like you should with any service, but my experience has been straightforward up to now.
